Thai wedding
A man will engage a woman first and they will get marry afterwards. Now, the engaged day will be the same as the wedding day. In the past, a man will engages the woman by giving golds, jewelries, and money to her parent to pay back them anything thay they used to raise and take care of her until she grew up. And now, some part of money for engaging may give to her parent and the rest may use in the her new family. All of the expenses in the wedding day is the duty of the man. The engaged things may be golds, jewelries, properties ( condomeniums, esatates, houses, cars) and money. A man may give only money to womna’s parent and the rest are become the properties for both of you which possess together. Many or less money of engagement are up to the social status of money for both of them.
Two steps of Thai wedding.
1) To make merit in the morning along the religion.
2) To celerbrate in hotel or the house of man or woman.
( Both steps are very good culture to do and for a good woman who was raised and taugh well. And it shows the way to pay respect to the parent and protect the gossipping from other people.)
